Hello guys. It's Alex from Burma. There is smth that i try to figure out a whole day on the internet but i didn't find even one.So i think u guys can help me through it.

I already have i3 skylake(6100) Cpu with GTX970 MSI GPU and it's done pretty great
But last a few day i've got a GTX 1060 Super
Jetstream as my birthday present. I know that has a better performance with Core i5(6400,6500) but i still dun have budget for upgrade my CPU .So can i use my new 1060 card on my i3 6100 SAFELY????
Btw I use FL studio 12 (a lot). And i also play dota 2 ,GTA V and some shooting staff like
JUST CAUSE 3. Not too many high end games.
Just around 4.

Here is my PC spec
MB - MSI Bazooka B150
GPU- 970 or 1060 (safe one)
Cpu- Skylake Core i3(6100)
Cpu cooler - Corsair H60 hydro liquid cooling
DRAM- LPX Corsair 2400MHZ 16GB(8x2)DDR4
SSD - Crucial MX 200 series 500gb
HDD -Toshiba 1tb

Case-Fractal design Define R4
Monitor - BenQ 1080p 60Mh BL24

Thanks Guys.Sry for my long post.i'm newbee here. :)

You have a solid build, but i don't understand why you got a 1060 when it has hardly any performance benefits over 970. I understand it was a present but still. anyway dude, 970s still have some value so i would sell that and get a 6500, since your mobo can't OC, or get a 6600k and then z170/270 later on

yes bro i already did that i sold out my 970 and grab i5 6600k but my MB is b150 so i think i can't do the OC thing. but still got 60 fps in all sort of games . that's all what i want.
