Is the 3M Novec 7000 Engineered Fluid a viable alternative to LN2 in a custom cooling loop?

I was searching to see you could use LN2(Liquid Nitrogen) as an everyday use solution to get better performance and system longevity. I came to the conclusion that it is simply not worth it.
However, in my findings, I saw someone reference 3M Novec 7000 as a "better" alternative, but not necessarily a 'viable' option.
Does anyone have any knowledge or experience on this subject?

At $300 per gallon i would say it is not viable.

But it has certainly been done, and is being done. OP in that thread is a high school student - real impressive stuff.
