Is the 750w corsair builder series good enough for my setup?

My parts-

CPU: i5 3570k (stock cooling until I can afford liquid)
GPU: xfx black edition double dissipation 7970
Mobo: Maximus v gene
Case: CM Storm Trooper
RAM: 4gb Corsair vengeance
SSD: Samsung 840 120gb

Will it be safe to run this on a 750 watt builder psu? I don't plan on overclocking until I have better cooling and a better psu.

Also, how does the xfx brand compare with say, asus or gigabyte? The xfx is cheaper, which leads me to think that it must be worse. Is there any significant difference between it and the other brands?
