Is the 970 evo compatible with the x470 gaming pro carbon from msi?

I know they should be compatible and work fine, but I was going to buy a b450 gaming pro carbon ac, and I decided finally to get the x470, and on the b450 compatibility webpage the 970 evo appeared but on the x470 it does not, although both mobos have the same conector.

That is just the one they have tested on the boards mate but basiically any SSD will fit in an SSD slot and is backwards compatible bud. No problems...
