I want an M.2 NVME drive for a build. I was planning to get the 970 Pro, but I saw that the 970 Evo Plus has the same read speeds, higher write speeds, and a lower price. Also, I do worry about storage longevity. Which one should get?
Well for your case the 970 Pro would have been the better pick imo. MLC NAND has significantly higher endurance and better program/read times. But for the price, I think the EVO Plus is still fine. Both have 5-year warranties. The 980 Pro is also just a few weeks/months away...I hope. LolWell I choose the 970 Evo Plus! Thanks
Pro should have longer warranty, that's all.I want an M.2 NVME drive for a build. I was planning to get the 970 Pro, but I saw that the 970 Evo Plus has the same read speeds, higher write speeds, and a lower price. Also, I do worry about storage longevity. Which one should get?
