Nate_42 :
Okay so i am about to make a purchase on a new computer that can do day to day activities but also support gaming for when i have free time so the question at hand is this processor good enough for games?
AMD A12-9720P RADEON R7 12 COMPUTE CORES 4C+8G 2.70 GHz
Heya, I'm currently typing this on the laptop with the same processor you're talking about and so far, it is great. I actually played some games here using AMD A12-9720P (12 Compute cores) which also has AMD Radeon R7 GPU on MEDIUM settings and all goes great. I personally say that this HP 15 Bw003ax (With the same specs that you mentioned) are pretty capable of playing games on medium settings. Just make sure it has 8GB RAM and at least 4GB GPU memory which I have right now.
My specs:
AMD A12-9720P, Radeon R7 (12 Compute Cores 4C+8G 2.7GHz)
AMD Radeon 535DX dedicated GPU (4GB DDR3) (Built-in; non-expandable)
8GB RAM DDR4 Memory(expandable up to 32GB)
Games I played so far:
Need For Speed: Prostreet (Max Graphics)
Need For Speed: The Run (Medium to High settings)
Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit (High Settings)
Dead or Alive 5: Last Round (Unsure but looks like Medium Graphics)
and still counting games to be played on...
If you bought that computer with AMD specs on it, then I hope this helps, if not, it's okay
