I have a budget build and I was wondering if any of you have ever used the processor and could tell me if it is a bang for the buck as they say. Thank you.

Solution
No its not - he offered you a decent apu solution.

With a discrete GPU the fx 6300 absolutely hands down - just be sure to pair it with a decent quality motherboard.

AMD make some decent CPUs like X4 750K / X4 860k/ Fx 63xx for budget gaming rigs and have nice APU line best for budgets from APU is A8-7650k can run even some new games like GTA 5 in low detail and 720P, also old FX 8xxx are great for budget video editing and streaming. Simple AMD is good when you have strict budget.

OK then do you recommend any amd cpu's that are under 100 and can handle gaming and editing well?

For under 100 bucks it would be hard to recommend any cpu from intel or amd for doing both those tasks at once most people have a discreet GPU and Cpu but for under 100 bucks you can find a good apu that will make you happy with medium to low settings for gaming and some editing al be it slower then you like/
