I got a note on pc part picker saying I may need a BIOS update, what does that mean? Is it compatible?

I think it might of had it a the motherboards oldest update, but the MOBO should come with a more recent update than 1006, considering the update came out in 2012, thank you!

Yes - the fx6300 will work on it. PartPicker doesn't get everything right.

But the LE version a crappy motherboard. Don't try overclocking with it.
