Hello I have bought a Antec Twelve Hundred V3 case. I am looking to put a specific Mobo in the case, but im not sure it will fit. The Case it's self is enormous and I was told that the Mobo I originally wanted could fit in it. Would a Asus Rampage IV Black Edition fit in the Twelve Hundred even though the Mobo is EATX and the Case is ATX? Originally I was told that it would, but I have been looking and I'm not sure. Any help would be greatly appreciated thanks!

Here's what im talking about though even in that review they are saying there should be enough space could I use plastic standoffs and actually pull this mobo off in this case?

Plastic standoffs would provide support for the motherboard, but in many cases the standoff screws are used to ground the motherboard's ground to the case, so it may or may not work, depending on which screw location(s) provide the grounding.

Dang man that bums me out I was really hoping it was possible without serious risk I was gonna trick it out with a corsair h100i and a great processor. Now I got to re think my build.

i really don't know whom to trust, i have seen this website expressing out it does support EATX form factor 😀

Yet i wouldn't be sure if that is true information source. Just another look at the pic below:

The motherboard used in above for Antec Twelve Hundred V3 is CROSSHAIR V FORMULA which has the form factor of '30.5 cm x 24.4 cm' while your motherboard Asus Rampage IV Black Edition has the form factor of '30.5 cm x 27.2 cm', which leaves us with extra of 2.8cm space. Do you think that would accommodate that space without actually blocking the doors for cable management+does that motherboard align perfectly on each standoffs in your case? Still to avoid any more hassle, just pick up any better ATX board.

What would you see as a better motherboard. I'm building my second Enthusiast level gaming computer and I want everything to be as good as I possibly can. However, I know nothing about mobos. I've always had a MSI as I didn't know much about gaming pcs back then. Any suggestions as an alternative maybe? All i've selected so far is this case.
