I've been using a entry level gaming rig for quite a while and I wanted to upgrade. I was originally just going to upgrade the things that directly impact performance, the RAM, CPU, and GPU, but than I suddenly remembered that my PSU isn't exactly a powerhouse, and now I'm afraid that if I don't upgrade it, it'll fry my rig. My PSU is an Antec VP500pc, and I want to upgrade to 3200mhz RAM, Ryzen 5 2600 and a GTX 1660 SUPER. I don't plan on OCing anything. I'm on a very, very tight budget, but is it worth getting a better PSU? How likely would you say the thing is to go up in flames?

Even if I do upgrade it, I'd only be able to go for either the Antec VP 700p Plus or Thermaltake's SPS-530M(There aren't a lot of options in my country. These are the only units in my budget where half the money doesn't go towards RGB lights). Are these worthwhile improvements? O, and I have to say, I'm really eyeing the SPS, because at least it's semi-modular
