Hi! I am upgrading my pc in prepration for a new graphics card and want a new cpu cooler. I was looking at this one:http://www.amazon.com/ARCTIC-Alpine-Rev-CPU-Cooler/dp/B001A5V1K2/ref=cm_cr_pr_product_top, and I was wondering whether it is worth it? I don't plan on overclocking too much (maximum of 300 mhz to 4.2ghz, no voltage change, works fine on stock cooler), and I have the ga78lmt usb3, fx 4300, rosewill ranger m, cx430 v2, rosewill ranger m, 2tb wd green. I don't have a gpu yet, and am gettint a r7 260 probably. I already bought a 12v to 7v adapter so my case fans are more quiet, and now my cpu fan is a bit noisy and wondering if I should order today? Seems ike a nice cooler and has good reviews. I could just go to stock clock speeds and and turn down my cppu fan via speedfan, and just get a better gpu, instead.

Not sure that's an accurate statement. I have a Gigabyte F2A88XM-D3H MB and AMD A10-7850K APU and I was getting 74-76C consistently with stock 80mm fan. I installed the Arctic Alpine 64GT and some Antec thermal grease and the difference was quite substantial: 35C with 40-44C at heavy load (OC'd to 4.0Ghz no voltage changes).

Our home's AC went out yesterday in one of the worst heat waves South Florida has ever seen and this baby still didn't crack 50 C...I'm not a gamer, but I am impressed nonetheless and will be getting one for our home server, as well.
