Is the AsRock H81M-DGS R2.0 working with a GTX 1060

I've read some other posts here saying that I can use a GTX 1060 with a AsRock H81M-DGS R2.0 mainboard. But since the motherboard only has PCI expresss 2.0 and the graphics card has PCI express 3.0 is it still possible to get 100% of the performance?

My PC (if that is relevant):
CPU: intel core i7-4770
GPU: NVIDIA GTX 650
motherboard: AsRock H81M-DGS R2.0

It should be backwards compatible. I'm more concerned about the make and model of your PSU and it's age at this point. Mind sharing that with us?
