Is the Asrock H97 Pro4 a good motherboard?

Yes, as long as you don't want to overclock. Intel chipsets with the "H" spec usually don't support it.

yes thats a fine motherboard unless u require overclocking if u dont its great for the price.

I am going to pair it with an i5-4590 so over clocking is not an option

Where did you hear that it has no audio? It has 7.1 channel with a Realtek ALC892.
