Is the Asrock Z97 Anniversery motherboard for about $90 USD worth it?

I have the case (Corsair Cabide Spec 01), DVD Drive (Asus 24x), CPU (I5 4590), and the storage (Western Digital Blue 1 Tb). Will it suit a GTX 970 and eventually, SLI?

It only has 1 PCIe 3.0 so it will never support SLI. It will support all your listed components though.
