Is the asus strix b350-f gaming compatible with the new Ryzen 5 APU

Just bought the new AMD Ryzen 5 2400G with Radeon RX Vega 11 Graphics and had a brand new asus b350-f gaming MOBO. My questions is if I use the cpu would it be compatible with the MOBO with no issues?

Depends if the mobo has new version of BIOS or not. If it's new, it will work. If it has old version, it will not start.

When you bought the motherboard, did it have a sticker or anything that said Amd ryzen 2000 ready?

ASUS boards have a version of BIOS printed on the sticker on the board itself. Last four digits of the number are (usually) showing the BIOS version.
