i have the ati radeon sapphire hd 3850 1 gb and tried to search for it on google and can't find a single one the only one that i found where the 500 mb versions. is this one that rare or bad?

It's rare because it's old. Like you can't find easily a Walkman or a rotary phone (new condition). Older tech that is greatly surpassed, is discontinued, making the find of it, hard.
