Is the BIG GRILLS Fad over yet?

First was the high doors, tinny windows. Is family car, not a tank!
Then the Aggressive look, even on econoboxes, obvious over-compensation.
Now even Japanese are doing Big Grills, paint them gold will ya, why stop there?

I find the aggressive angled look much more appealing than the shapeless blobs of the 90's and 2000's. (Even if they have a big grill) Some brands really overdo it however. I'm looking at you Lexus!

The big door/high beltline trend is hear to stay unfortunately. Safety requirements for side impact and rollover make it so. And people like their trunk space, so you can expect poor reward visibility to stay the same for passenger cars.

Older/Shorter people hate that lack of visibility. This is why even older people are opting for higher-set crossovers.

There is only one car, with two variants, that did the over-the-top-of-the-header-panel look correctly.

1976-1977 Oldsmobile Cutlass and 442.
