It doesn't appear damaged so much as displaced. Which could be worse since it's effectively connecting to one side of the adjacent part. It may not matter, but then again....

Can those parts be replaced by using another CPU?It doesn't appear damaged so much as displaced. Which could be worse since it's effectively connecting to one side of the adjacent part. It may not matter, but then again....
Those parts are MLCC's...chip capacitors that perform final filtering of the DC voltages entering the CPU. They are usually (highly) redundant with several in parallel. I'd suggest trying to flick it completely off with a needle if you're not able to relocate it to the proper lands and solder it on.
you could probaby solder those same ones back on if you have the skill and the tools. Can those parts be replaced by using another CPU?
Well I know a guy who knows how to fix it. He just said I need another CPU that has parts alike. I just wonder if those parts are being manufactured differently from CPU to CPU.you could probaby solder those same ones back on if you have the skill and the tools.
Most likely they're the same and even if different it won't matter so long as they physically fit.Well I know a guy who knows how to fix it. He just said I need another CPU that has parts alike. I just wonder if those parts are being manufactured differently from CPU to CPU.
