Is the configuration compatible?

I will be assembling a budget gaming PC with the following configuration:

Motherboard : ASUS M5A78L-M/USB3
CPU : AMD AM3+ 3.5 GHz FX 6300 6 Core
HDD : WD 1 TB
RAM : Corsair Vengeance 1600 MHz (2 x 4 GB)
GPU : Galaxy NVIDIA GTX 750Ti 2GB OC DDR5
Cabinet + 600 watt PSU

Is the configuration compatible?
Will it be better to go for Radeon R7 265 as a GPU instead?
Any suggestions and opinions will be highly appreciated...

For the motherboard, try to go with a Gigabyt GA97-UD3P. It has a 8 phase power design which is much better for the fx-6300 than the Asus mobo you posted.
The r7 265 will be more powerful than the gtx 750 ti for around the same price so I would probably go for that.

Any Case+ PSU combo is a bad idea. The power supply is an extremely important part in your build and you need a decent quality one which usually costs around $50 by itself. A bad quality power supply will not output the stated wattage and when it fails it will likely destroy some other components with it. This is especially important if you are in a country with a bad power grid.

Didn't see any r7 265s at a decent price so went with a gtx 750 ti.

Note: the Corsair CX power supplies are decent but not the best, a better PSU would be an XFX 550w ($60) or Antec HCG ($60-80) but those break the budget. The CX is a budget psu but should come with a 3 year warranty, not what I usually recommend though.
