Hello everyone! I have an old motherboard with 775 socket. Right now I have Intel E2180 and I want to upgrade to a Core 2 Quad Q6600. Is this enough for games? Games like Watch Dogs, CS:GO, Rocket League, Dying Light...

My PC at this moment:

CPU: Intel E2180
RAM: 4GB DDR2 (I will upgrade to 8GB RAM since my mainboard supports 8GB)
GPU: AMD Radeon R7 250 1GB GDDR5
HDD: 1TB
MOBO: MSI G41m-P33 Combo

I'm not looking to play games on ultra settings, I want them just to work.

There was an interesting look back at the old Core 2 quads on YouTube recently:

Just a FYI, recently there have been a lot of post on Tom's in the last two weeks about using these 775 mobo, q series CPUs for current games. I totally recommend checking out some of them as I'm sure they'll answer most if not all of your questions.

I highly doubt his monitor can even display anywhere close to 150FPS, so why should he be worried about it? Heck, even someone with a modern gaming rig & a 144Hz monitor isn't going to see anything past 144FPS anyway.

No need for a 144hz to display more than 150fps, CS is very unique in the mattter of frames per seconds, once you play it you'll realize the huge difference going from 60fps to 100 and to 300 (which is the ideal amount for this game), regardless of how many hz your monitor produces. Can't be denied the pleasure of having G-sync/Free sync but on this game specifically you need that high amount of fps.

I had a Core 2 Quad 6700 (2.66ghz) with a AMD r270x and it actually did pretty well on newer games in medium settings. If you can get the new CPU cheap it might be worth it until you can afford a new platform. Your BIOS might need to be updated for the new CPU.
