Depends on the specific motherboard. Z390 is the chipset for the CPU.

You'll need to make sure the motherboard has an M.2 slot at least 80mm long (mobo's with M.2 support usually always support this size, as it is one of the most common), with a Key type M connection (also one of the most common).
