Is the corsair RM 650w ok for the gtx 970?

My build:
Intel i5 4690k
GTX 660 (Current) GTX 970 (Want to get)
ASRock Z97 PRO4 Motherboard
RM 650w Corsair
Unbranded Ram(I think) 8gb

I know most people say the rm 650w is a terrible psu but I already have it...
Anyway would it fail or not?

You should be just fine. an i5 4690k and GTX 970 wont pull anywhere near 650 watts.
