okay last time i had asked a question and some helped me a little bit. but now i wanted to narrow it down, so you can tell me whats wrong.
When i power on the laptop this happens...
led lights come on
No beeps
No post
No display
no hard disk activity
cpu heats up a little bit.
if i remove a ram or hard disk no beeps still !!!!
now please tell me whats really wrong here.. but i have narrowed to either motherboard or cpu because their the most important thing.

thanks 4 your answer.. i think thats a likely thing coz not even the hard disk spins!! even when i remove the RAM there is absolutely no BEEP!!

If you feel like thats the information you need make sure you select this as the best answer so that it shows answered in the forums, helps keep unanswered questions from being over looked in the forums

Have you tested to make sure that the PSU is functional? If the HDD doesn't spin up at all, that means it's not getting power. No lights or any signs of power (other than the CPU heat) kind of points me to the PSU.

it's a laptop so it doesn't have a psu!! but if that is the case then why do the led lights light up when i press the power button!!? this indicates that the motherboard is at least receiving some power.

you have to treat the battery as a PSU in a laptop in this scenario, it still routes power to the device the same way. If there is a short in one of the primary cables supplying power then it can it can be causing the problem.

the battery can't be the problem since i did remove it and used the power cable only and the same results happened!!

my laptop is samsung NP305U1A with AMD E-350 zecate processor and AMD 6320 HD radeon graphic card. thnks

its not the best answer but i will select the best answer and thanks for your reply!
