[SOLVED] Is the cpu still usable?

I recently built a pc and put too much thermal paste the paste got into the socket and the pins when I power it nothing in the pc turns on nothing burned though not sure what the problem is exactly just wondering if this cpu is still usable really hard to get a good picture but basically the thermal paste is inbetween the pins and around the sides of the cpu and it’s impossible to get the paste that’s inbetween the cpu pins and around the sides I’m getting a new motherboard and wondering if you think it’s still working

Apply some icy alcohol to the cpu . It should eat away at the thermal paste . Just be very careful in doing so . Perhaps watch a video or two on applying thermal paste as well .
