Is the crossfire option in ccc meant to be there even if you don't have more than 1 card?

Hi,

My second R9 290 should be arriving tomorrow and I want to make sure I have everything ready for it. In order to enable crossfirex, people seem to have an option in CCC under 'Gaming', 'Performance', or elsewhere, but for me, I don't see that.

Does it only show if there are at least 2 cards, or is it meant to be there regardless because I want to know if I should do a clean uninstall and then reinstall the drivers.

Also, would there be anyhting else that I needed to ensure that crossfire will work? (excluding PC compatability) xD

Regards,
Jared.

It doesn't tend to appear there unless you have two cards in and installed correctly.

Compatibility is one which covers it all really; PSU/Motherboard/CPU - Bottleneck/case - Ventilation (crossfire gets hot in the case)..and so on.
