Is the Dell G7 in 4k worth it for gaming?

Hi! I'm looking into getting a Dell G7 in 4K. Is it worth it over a 1080p model? Or should I look at another laptop with a 120hz+ display?

I don't think any laptop screen is good in 4k resolution. Even for a 17" system, 1080 or maybe 1440 is plenty.

Gotta agree with nine-ball here. On a screen that small, 4K strikes me as too much of a gimmick to pay a premium for.
