Is the difference alot?gtx 760 vs gtx770

Solution
If price is a concern, The GTX 760 can play 1080p, just not on high/ultra settings. The GTX 770 might be the best as it sits in the middle and allows for high/ultra gameplay on most of the latest games.

Thanks

I have to disagree. At 1080p, I can max just about everything with my 760 SC paired with a i7-4770.

Crysis 3 is fully playable even at 36-50 fps (Except for the first map with the rain, get around 26-35).

Max Payne 3 maxed runs 52+, NEVER dipped below that.

I've tried a numerous slew of other games like Tomb Raider, Need For Speed Most Wanted, Saints Row IV, Assassin's Creed 3.

They all play and run fine.

On topic, the 770 will warrant a 10-20FPS increase on most games compared to a 760. Some high end games will have lower increases like 6-14 fps.

Okay thanks

you can still get a very playable FPS with the GTX 760 at High/Ultra settings
