[SOLVED] Is the EVGA 600w 80 + white good?

So I am going to build a new pc with a ryzen 7 3700x and a 1660 super. I will use the MSI gaming plus max motherboard. I am thinking about using 16 gb of T-Force Delta rgb memory. I have 2 questions, what rgb ram is there under 80 dollars if https://www.newegg.com/team-16gb-288-pin-ddr4-sdram/p/N82E16820331039 T-Force ram isn't good. Also is the https://www.bestbuy.com/site/evga-6...us-power-supply-black/8511029.p?skuId=8511029 psu any good. I need a psu that will work with that system that is under 60 dollars. If I need to pay a little more than that just to make sure that it is reliable then I will.

As far as the power supply goes, no, the EVGA W1 series is not a good model. The most important component in your computer is the power supply. Here's a link for an acceptable budget model and a good model.

How is the https://www.amazon.com/EVGA-Warrant...GOLD+500W&qid=1586484668&s=electronics&sr=1-1. Its 80 dollars and rated gold. I don't know if it'll break though.

There are no reliable reviews of that model that I can find from a reputable tech source. EVGA cut a few corners to keep the price down such as non-modular cables, sleeve bearing fan and some chinese capacitors but it has a better warranty and better specs than the first one you listed.

Are there any power supply’s that are in between the prices of those that is semi modular or fully modular? If not is non modular going to be ok?

Non-modular isn't a problem. It just leaves extra cables attached that you may not need so it makes it more work to have a clean looking build. If your pc case has a glass side window the appearance is more of an issue but if you have a standard case with a metal side panel you won't see the cables so it doesn't matter at all.

It is transparent, except it has a metal thing around the power supply. Would I be able to hide the extra cables under the metal cover?

Ok, so it has a shroud where you can leave the extra cables. That's fine. What is the brand and model of the case?

Asus gt501. It’s an expensive case but I had extra money and didn’t want to upgrade other stuff. I also couldn’t find any cases aside from this one with really high reviews.

Nice. That will work fine. Just run each cable you need through the routing holes to keep the appearance good and leave the rest in the shroud.
