I need help Buying a Computer. I am buying a Gaming Desktop, and i want to know if the EVGA geforce 9800 gt 512mb Dual DVI is the same as Nvidia GeForce 9800 GT 1GB 256 bit DDR3. I need them to Run DayZ a Computer game) smoothly. The EVGA Is a bit cheaper, and according to GameDebate.com, They both have the same rate, to run it smoothly, bt i want to Be SURE if the EVGA will run just as good AND be cheaper, too. Thanks.

No, the 9800 GT is a low end out dated card.

DayZ uses a lot of CPU so even with a good graphics card you'll need a fast CPU

I played Dayz with a GTX 670 which is a pretty high end card, and a i7 4770k and a fx 8350 8 core
all overclocked.

I still had about 30-40 fps. (So i had to run it on high settings, not ultra)

Dayz is not a well optimized game.
