Is the FX6300 the best 'bang for your buck' CPU available?

I've bought this CPU and despite being using the onboard ATI HD 3000 video device, I think that in comparison to most CPU's out there currently this is still the best 'bang for your buck' CPU out there.

Any thoughts? Do you think there's a better option for this purpose out there?

For $25 more you can buy an i3-6100 that demolishes it in every performance test except unzipping files with 7zip, and has decent onboard graphics (the FX has none). So no definitely not the best bang for your buck.

Of all FX series I picked 6350 BE as best buy. There's enough cores for most work and I have it running 24/7 at 4.8GHz and less than 1.4v. Had it at 5GHz but because of constant use and so I don't have to use water cooling I dropped it ti 4.8.

The 6 cores are the reason why I like this CPU so much, you can do so many things at once without having to worry about the CPU spiking or something. Plus I have 8GB of RAM which is perfect for nowadays PC's.

Definitely not, as the FX-8300 is there and for some ridiculous reasons, priced similarly to the 6300.

Some guy in YouTube told me that it's not that far off from an i3 6100 in gaming and absolutely demolished it in things like Rendering, Video Encoding, File Zipping, etc. It also is a stupidly good overclocker. All I can say is return that 6300, get a the 8300, preferably with a beefy cooler and overclock it.

Unless, you're playing stupidly optimised games like civilization in low res (which I ironically do, see my specs ) :lol:.
