I want to upgrade from my current ram (Kingston Hyper-X Fury 16GB) to the G.Skill Trident Z RGB 32GB but I dont know if the Trident Z will fit because the part of the tubes that connect to the water-block of my NZXT Kraken X62 over-hang a little bit the last DIMM Slot closest to the CPU, and the ram Im using now just fits under it by about a quarter of an inch. Is the Trident Z too tall to fit? My Motherboard is MSI Z270 Gaming Pro Carbon

Solution
Your ram is 32.8mm high.
The tridentZ is 44mm high.
Check your motherboard manual.
Usually, you can avoid the use if the first ram slot by mounting ram in the more distant pair of slots.
This, of course assumes that you are buying a 2 x 16gb kit.
Since Z270 is maxed at dual channel, that should not be an issue.

I suppose you could also rotate the waterblock to avoid the issue.
