is the GA-H110M-DS2 a good motherboard?

I am thinking about buying the GA-H110M-DS2 motherboard with a 6th generation Intel i5 7600 and I would like to know if this is compatible with a gtx 1060 graphics card? It will mostly be used for gaming, games like COD, csco, fortnite(???). Its for my 13 year old son, will this be sufficient for speed and graphics?

Yes - it will work. The main difference between mobos is the number of ports available, i.e. sata, usb, m.2, ram slots, PCIe slots, etc. If you want a little more expandability, look at B250 mobos. There's no need to buy a "Gaming" mobo, if you're not going to use the extra features on it.
