I have the Lg g7 Thin q phone working with the Folster2 watch. the watch runs Wear OS. Can I get the Galaxy s9 plus to work with my watch? I want to keep the feature of paying for items through my watch.
I don't think you need to install a custom OS. They must be compatible with each other as both run android. Wear OS is a part of android and must support all android devices. Samsung watches also runs on Wear OS.
If you do transactions with NFC, it shouldn't be a problem as both the phones have that. They have pretty much the same hardware.
- Wear OS, also known as Wear OS by Google and previously called Android Wear, is a version of Google's Android operating system designed for smartwatches and other wearables.
The software is where the problem might come from. I understand that Samsung has their own software and does not use West OS. Im now wondering if I can install West OS on this Samsung watch?
