Is the Gigabyte GA-78LMT-S2P really that bad?

I just ordered it for a new build and (of course only after i ordered) I'm seeing some spectacularly bad reviews. Is it really that bad? I'm also seeing people saying that the rev 5.0 version that's shipping now is throttling even 95 watt CPUs. If that's the case I'm going to be ordering a new motherboard.

Hi, it's not bad if you use it with lower end CPU's rated at 95w, and don't always believe everything you read, most issues are based on user error. But if you plan on running a FX 8350 with it for example, then you will have issues. If on a budget and you don't want to worry about CPU throttling and the like i would recommend the Asus M5A97 R2.0

I'm going to be running an FX 4130. and that's a 125 watt. I wish I'd read those reviews and thought to check wattage. I'll check out the Asus.

That CPU should not cause any issues, but it's worth getting a better board if you decide to upgrade to a 8-core AMD Processor in the future:

IfI just let it go and stuck with the gigabyte I might as well save some money and buy a less powerful processor than put the 4130 in just to say I have it... I'm going to do some research and see what I can come up with for cheap 125 watt AM3+ boards. I'll probably make a new thread as well and see what comes up.
