Hello,
I am upgrading my pc this week but I'm not sure if the motherboard I chose is the best or not.
I game in 4k and watch movie. I won't be overclocking.
I already have the following parts:
CPU: 14700kf
SSD: wd_balck sn580x 2tb
PSU: Cooler Master Silent Pro M2 1000w
GPU: MSI RTX 4080 16GB Ventus 3X OC GDDR6X

I am missing the motherboard and RAM.
I was thinking of getting the Gigabyte Z790 UD AC.
As I am not overclocking and don't wont be going gen5 for the SSD is there any other reason I should go with a higher end motherboard? If so what do you think I should get and why? (I want to go DDR5)

Here is the RAM I am thinking of buying also:
DDR5 32GB 2x16GB 7200MHz G Skill Trident Z5

If you don´t wanna OC, get 5600MHz RAM

The board should be fine, but it "only" supports wifi AC and not AX, and only bluetooth 4.2 and not the current 5.x. But it´s not necessary if you only use cables and if it´s cheaper than the AX version.

If you won´t overclock, a B760 or H770 board should do

Thank you for the answer. I did not see that the wifi was AC and not the current 5.x Bluetooth. I will be checking for another model for sure then.

I am now looking at the Rog Strix B760-A Gaming Wifi DDR5. My only concern is the 12 1 but if I don't OC that should be fie right?
Also the cost of 289 cad is low.
