Is the GT 630 a good card for multiple monitors?

This is not for gaming, but I do want 3 monitors. This card (http://www.geforce.com/hardware/desktop-gpus/geforce-gt-630/features) seems cheap, and has the ports I need. So, can I use a (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16812200810) DVI splitter to have two VGA monitors connected and one DVI monitor directly into the Card?

Solution
It supports 2 at a time and IMO it does it very well. Please Note that I game very little and on one screen at a time. (Mostly GRO and LOL). I do use my dual screen setup for heavy CATIA/Solidworks/MS Visual Studio use and have no problems. I have the GT 630 2 GB running 2 LG LED 24" monitors. If it helps, I'm running 16 gb RAM on and AMD FX8350. Good Luck!

I would like to have all three monitors as an extended display, so I can drag one mouse to another monitor. I want to be able to hit the full screen button, and have the program go full screen on ONLY ONE MONITOR at a time... So, scratch the 630 and the splitter cabel, what would be the best solution for this scenario?

I know I'm coming in this a bit late but the MSI GT630 doesn't support 3 screens at the same time. It will detect the screens and let you choose the 2 you want to use. And displays a message that says something like "only 2 screens are supported with this GPU"

If someone managed to make it work with 3, I would be very interrested! I bought a second identical card after reading it was the best way to do more than 2 screens in Win7 but so far the second card is being disabled by Windows.

I'm doing about the same things with two Dell 23" monitors on DVI cables, using Geforce 9400 GT from 2009. Now I want to get a cheap Leadtek GT 630 DDR3 2GB but it has 3 ports: DVI, HDMI, VGA.

How did you connect your two monitors? One on DVI and the other on VGA? Is it better to connect the second monitor on HDMI using an adapter?

my belief that it definitely is. VGA is old analog which hdmi and dvi are digital.
