Hi,

I have the Dell XPS 8900 which comes with the Dell 0XJ8C4 motherboard. I am planning to buy the GTX 1060/1070 soon and was wondering if it is compatible with my motherboard. How do I find out?

Thanks.

I watched a video that showed the Dell XPS 8900 case with the GTX 1070, so I am guessing it should. However, he changed everything else inside so I wanted to make sure.

I mention it because some cards are longer than others. So if you do get one make sure it's not one of the absurdly long cards. Check that video and see which one he had. You can always google the length of the card and any card <= to that length will fit.

Awesome! That's exactly what I will do. Yeah, I realized not all the cards are same length, once I did some digging in EVGA website. Worst case scenario, I will get the 1050ti as I know that will fit, but that's like the last option.

Your PSU should have a table on the side stating its wattage. Long as its a 450W it can handle the 1060 and 500w for the 1070. Here is a 1060 6GB with a power supply if you need.

Sweet! I just have to find them in the Canadian websites. Thanks Mate.

Yeah the consair is much cheaper and will also fit my dell case. I was wondering, is the GIGABYTE GTX 1060 better than the EVGA 1060? I may have to worry about length with this crappy case. I saw some people were buying the single fan, but I am worried about over heating.
