Is the GTX 1080 Founders addition worth upgrading to from a GTX 780 SC 3gb?

I have an EVGA 3GB GTX 780 SC. Will it be worth it to upgrade to the GTX 1080 Founders edition? I know there are major differences with the amount of ram and the speed that the clocks run on but will it make much of a difference? I play games like WoW, Overwatch, Battleborn, The Division. Thanks in advance for any help

yes its a very large upgrade its faster than two 780s so yes if your gaming at 1080p 60hz a 1080 is overkill but a 120hz its a good card
but why founders edition unless your doing one of two things 1 water cooling it or 2 need it for the smaller size unless you need one of those two get a aftermarket as its cheaper and better in cooling and overclocking

I upgraded from a 770, and its night and day difference. I can't even explain how good it is . Everything is so smooth and on max graphic settings.

I upgraded from a GTX 580 and I couldn't be happier. Look at the offerings from eVGA, MSI, ASUS, etc as they are usually cheaper and run cooler / quieter.

What monitor/s are you using?
A card like the GTX1080 needs at least a fast 1440 or very fast 1080 screen to make any sense whatsoever.
Regardless of screen speed, the GTX1070 is a good deal cheaper and capable of running even uber demanding titles like Wild Hunt beyond 60FPS, maxed out on a 1440 display, do you really need to spend an extra $200 for an extra 15FPS?
