Question Is the GTX 16 series just the generation after the 10 Series?

If thats the case why is there only a 1650, 1660, and 1660 Ti? and what do they compare to the RTX cards? i havent been able to find anything explaining this and ive been curious for a little while. Also what im at it why are the super versions of the RTX cards cheaper than the original versions (getting this from nvidia.com) when they seem to be more powerful?

Both 16 series and 20 series follow the 10 series.

GTX cards don't support hardware ray tracing (no RTX cores and no Tensor cores), they do support software ray tracing, as do the older 10 series.

RTX cards do support hardware ray tracing and have dedicated hardware to make that happen.

Both are Turing architecture, so all the benefits that were added after Pascal are there.
