Is the GTX 690 still a good card compared to today's gaming standards? I've seen the card for around $250- $300 but I've also seen the Titan Black for around $350. What should I do?
No. In my opinion there are too many games that don't properly support SLI to make it a worth while investment for those that do. If you have 350 to spend Get a GTX 1060 or AMD RX 480. DX12 support and the extra vram will matter a lot more in games to come.

Yeah it would be better just to get a 1060 or even save up a little more and catch a GTX 1070 for around 360-380 if your in the us and not in a rush end of next month I'm sure there will be sales.

There is also the vram problem, it has 4GB of VRAM but since it's a SLI setup, you can only use 2GB, and right now 2GB of VRAM cant even do 1080P properly.
