If you can afford one, an R9 270 (cheapest ~$140) is the best for around the price point of a 750 ti (Cheapest ~$120).

A 750 is an entry level card, it's good for gaming but not at 1080p.
Search for R7 260x/750Ti around that price range, those would be much better.
