Is the GTX 750 Ti an overclocked version of the GTX 750?

I want to buy a graphics card for my new computer build and I already have the 750 Ti. I overclocked it to match the specs of the 750 ti superclocked.

I just wanted to know if I can overclock the 750 to be like a 750 ti, or does Nvida use different hardware for both gpus?

Also a side question, is the 750 ti superclocked just an overclocked version of the 750 ti?

Thank you for all answers!

Nope, it's gone!

Everyone does it. Sometimes they use it as a way of harvesting otherwise faulty GPUs. So they run testing on faulty 750tis and if only one of the modules is faulty, they simply disable it and sell it on as a 750. I suspect lots of them are perfectly fine but just disabled at the factory. Vendors need products at lots of price points, and it's usually far cheaper to design fewer GPUs and then artificiality limit them, than try and design and produce dedicated GPUs at every price point.

Back in the day, lots of AMD 6950s could have their bios updated with a 6970 bios which simply unlocked the extra resources. I suspect it cost AMD on sales of their more expensive 6970s though, so they tend to make it hard now.
