Title basically says it all. For now, I have a 1366x768 monitor and I don't think I'm upgrading any time soon. I mainly play games like Battlefield 3 and 4, Far Cry 3 and 4, but not anything too demanding like Crysis 3 or anything. So an answer would be much appreciated, thanks!

Go for i3 4150 and r7 265 same price as gtx 750ti and more powerful your going to max out every game on that resolution and for 2 years you will be running at least medium

Crysis and Far Cry both use the same engine (CryEngine) and both are very demanding. You will be able to play them, though not always (eg Far Cry 4) at max setting. At medium setting you are good to go. However, what CPU do you use ? You should use at least a 3rd gen i5 to avoid any bottleneck.

I was thinking about using the Pentium g3258 for a mini itx build.

Okay, thanks. I decided not to build it. It was basically just to see what I could get away with on a budget. I'm building a rig with an i7 and a GTX 970 (not just for gaming) very soon. But thank you.
