Is the GTX 760 still worth it for 2018?

I saw that it's about 1050-1050ti ish performance (i'll overclock it to close the gap) and i can get the gpu for $70-ish here so is that still worth it? i'm building a budget rig rn

I wouldn't recommend getting GPU with under 3GB of VRAM in 2018.
Especially if you are on a tight budget. You want the card to do the best job for as long as possible.
Used parts prices are coming down (new parts prices are getting back to normal).
IMHO, if you can afford ~100$ GTX 770 4GB it would be much better value.

Currently have a 720p Monitor maybe i will upgrade to a 1080 panel but i can get Desktops that's already built (Plug and play) for $300 most of them with i5 4590's 8GB ram GTX 760 and RGB fans with tempered side panel case you guys think it's worth it? if not how about a GTX770? i see some ads (very rarely) for those^^^ specs and a 770 for $320-340 how about that

The GTX760 needs 175W of power, the GTX1050Ti needs 75W. If you need to buy a bigger PSU to run it then the 760 won't be such a bargain.

The 770 isnt quite accessible as to where i live it very rarely pops out in ads so the gtx 760 is the real option i have really powersupply wise i don't need to upgrade

I think if the 1050 was still a $100-110 card it wouldn't be worth it but since everybody wants too much for them I would go for it.

Alright thanks i think i'll just wait a bit for the prices to come down seeing as the ASIC will be releasing soon
