[SOLVED] Is the gtx 970 twin frozr v going to fit in my PCI 2.0 x58 motherboard?

Hi, i was looking for a msi gtx 970 twin frozr v to replace my Gt 730 , is it going to fit? Is it going to need more power supply?

My pc specs:

Processor: i7 980x Extreme Edition 3.33GHz

Motherboard: P6TD Deluxe Edition x58 PCI 2.0

Ram: 24 gb all slots filled

GPU: Msi GT 730 4GB

Power supply: It came free with the case , 500w

Its going to fit or its going to need a better power supply? Thanks for helping

Msi specifies 500w 6pin & 8pin pcie supplementary power connectors. If your psu doesn't have both then need to replace.

Yeah i was going to change it to a better one , but , the important question is, is it going to fit in the motherboard or not?

Motherboard is fine, im running an gtx 1070 on the same board as yours in another system. The more important question is do you have enough room in your case?
