Is the gtx1060 6gb compatible with my z77m-d3h

Hi everyone, I recently got the opportunity to buy a gtx1060 for a very good price the problem is that idk if my mobo can handle it, it is a Gigabyte Z77M-D3H currently running a gtx770 4gb, I already google it, but the answers I get differ a lot, some weren't able to make it run, some other had no problem, and others even had to use a modified version of a bios, tbh I don't know what to do, I could really use the extra fps but even if it is a good price for the gpu I don't want to wast that money.

There should be absolutely no reason the GTX 1060 won't work. The GTX 770 is working isn't it?

GPUs will work on any pcie and usually don't get bottlenecked, so as long as the mobo worked with the 770, it should work with anything else.

I use an Asus P8Z77-V Premium. It's a Z77 series motherboard and I paired with GTX 1080 ti. Plays games immaculately. You should have absolutely zero issues.
