is the H100i compatible

i am getting a pc real soon and i wanna know if the corsair h100i is compatible with socket LGA1150

Yep, you're just fine.

Any LGA 1155 compatible cooler is compatible with LGA 1150 - the mounting holes are the same. That being said, I'm pretty sure the H100i says it's compatible explicitly.
