So I ordered one a month ago, it came broken bla bla, soon a new one is gonna arrive.I wanna know is it loud ? Because if its loud and vibrates too much I wont stand it and I'm probably gonna sell it and buy a WD Black.
Is it loud?

Thanks :)

Solution
You need to look carefully at how you mount any HDD.

Make sure it is screwed in tight so it does not vibrate. Consider mounting it on rubber grommets to further isolate. Pad the inside of your case with acoustic material.

Put your case under the desk rather than right next to your ear or on a big echo chamber.

I am using a Seagate IronWolf (6TB) in my home machine and it is quiet, not SSD quiet, but not annoyingly loud.

Hello, modern drives are extremely quiet these days. As mentioned above, make sure you are connecting the drive to the chassis correctly. This not only reduces the noise, but also vibrations that could harm your drive. Check out Seagate article on drive noise. If you should require further assistance please ask.
