Is the hover-over thread thing just temporarily broken?

Because, honestly, knowing what thread I'm looking at is exponentially more worthless than the useful ability to read the first sentence or so of a post.

Oh, and please move the create new post towards to top of the board, not the very bottom. Its like a ninja hidden in the night, stealthy and invisible.

I agree with shambling on this one......I really, REALLY miss the little summary you used to get when you hovered over the thread title. It was a wonderful little feature.

Yes, it's VERY annoying to have the useless thread number pop up when hovering the mouse over the topic -- the whole point is to provide enough useful info in the "hover-caption" (such as the first line of the post) to allow someone to decide whether or not it's worthwhile to read the thread.

My understanding is that the thread number is the default mouseover for this forum software.

Obviously the hover caption is significantly more useful.

I have asked the forum devs to migrate this feature.

Hi,

In fact, the pop-up thread number is useful when you create a new topic to make a "related subject" : http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/forum/Forum-related/new-subject.htm (field "Related thread(s)") but it is not used and it exists an automatic feature which search related threads (at the bottom page, you see : "Related subjects" and sometimes a list, when related subjects were found)

For exemple, I create a thread about dogs and I link it with cats...
