Hi, i have seen many youtube videos about the i5 750 and 760 for gaming. I can buy a i5 750/760 system for real cheap since I still don't have much income and cheaper is better. I personally play Overwatch, GTA V, Batman Arkham series and some other random games. I don't do any video editting so a i7 is really useless to me which is why i am thinking of the i5 750.

This is a video of the i5 750 gaming.

I am also thinking about the i5 2500k but its alot more expensive though.

Until recently I was gaming on the i5 750 for 6 years since 2010 from new. Its been rock solid and was playing BF1 with no probs. Its the graphics card which needs to do the heavy lifting.
The i5 750 fits socket 1156 so bare that in mind for the mobo.
hi there. i too have an i5 750 paired with a gtx 1050ti. even though its old it does the job quite well. there are a lot of youtube vids of people playing triple A games on it with no problems. as nine layer nige said, its the gpu that does the heavy lifting.
there is a lot of rubbish said about how good you need your cpu to be, it may bottleneck a little bit but it wont do anything too significant. dont worry about it you should be fine 😉
ill update you because i might try out a demanding game like gta IV on my pc and ill let you know how it went.
